PRACTICE GROUNDS AT TPC SAWGRASS
The Practice Grounds at TPC Sawgrass is designed to create a world-class practice experience. The Celebration grass fairway floor is in the shape of an “X” to allow shot variations from the teeing ground. In total, the practice area includes five Tif-Eagle target greens with two built to USGA standards. Bunkers and palm trees protect and define the surrounds. The signature of the Practice Grounds is the center wedge target green that includes the traditional Pete Dye design element of the railroad bulk head. The visual elements draw in the characteristics of what a player will experience on THE PLAYERS Stadium Course. The PGA TOUR’s Performance Center has a private instruction area that includes its own teeing area, a chipping/bunker green and putting green.
